A single cast volume opened along its southern face, where marble, glass and a long reflecting terrace hold the valley light.

The brief asked for a house that would disappear into its slope. We answered with one continuous volume, cut once, and let the interior unfold as a sequence of rooms that each borrow a different quality of daylight.
Interiors are restrained to three materials — pale marble, smoked oak and lime plaster — allowing the changing weather outside to become the only ornament the house needs.
